ABOUT ME!

Hi, all! I bet you expected that this page would be azure the same as the Prologues to my novels! I decided to change the color so the site would not become too monotous to the eyes. I will probably change it again many times as I continue to learn about HTML and web page design which I fine fascinating.
I was born and raised in a small, farming community in upstate New York, and have been telling stories to any family members and friends who would listen--well, since forever!
As an adult I studied fiction writing through a correspondence school. One of the greatest compliments I have ever received about my writing was from a biology professor in college. In discussing a research paper I had turned in, she commented my paper was the smoothest writing she had ever encountered-- also that I was only getting a B+ because the handling of the subject matter was also the most superficial she had ever seen! It would appear that I was meant to be a writer instead of a biologist. Finally, after retirement and my family was all grown-up--and many years of writing and rewriting, I finally produced LITTLE FEATHER'S WOMAN in 2004.
At this time I live in a small, rural community in the midwest. (You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country of the girl!) I spend my time reading, writing, researching, gardening and homeschooling my grandkids.
At the moment, I am studying a delightfully written book titled The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creating a Web Page Fourth Edition by Paul McFedries. I just checked Mr. McFedries website and discovered that as of 2004, he had finished edition 6. I purchased my copy at a thrift store at a ridiculously low price but find it quite adequate for my needs.
My next novel Om's Story: When the Dragon Sleeps is floating around in my head and is only waiting until I have finished the revision of Little Feather's Woman to come in for a landing. And, of course, there is research to be done!
Well, today is September 1, 2008 and Little Feather's Woman (Revised Version 2008) is now finished and available
for sale at xlibris and will be available at Amazon, Barns and Noble, Target, etc. in about three months.
Alas, I hang my head in shame: paper has yet to see the first word of Om's Story: When the Dragon Sleeps!

LOVE, PEACE, JOY, LAUGHTER, AND GOOD HEALTH UNTIL NEXT TIME!
